Our journey began in 2017 when we brought home our first Bakfiets NL — a charming first-generation cargo bike that transformed our family's daily routines into extraordinary adventures.
Inspired by the joy and convenience this brought into our lives, we founded BOAH Bikes, with the mission to share this enriching experience with others.
REVIVING TRADITIONS, POWERING FUTURES: 95% CIRCULAR PROJECT
Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us. In our 'Second Life Bakfiets' project, all parts removed during the restoration process to add electric capabilities are donated. These parts are then repurposed in other bikes. It's a 95% circular project, reflecting our deep commitment to environmental responsibility.
Our Brand New Cargo Bikes, on the other hand, are brand-new, fresh-off-the-line cargo bikes that can be tailored to your preferences.
We outfit each bike with top-notch accessories, ensuring not just a fun and comfortable ride, but also the safety of your family. From good lights and efficient brakes to cosy seating arrangements, every detail is meticulously taken care of.
